How We Work

We follow a proven process of seven steps to improve our clients' negotiation practices:

  1. We assess needs.
  2. We customize our programs, including development of original case studies arising from management's definition of the most urgent opportunities.
  3. We train those closest to the work. In sales, this means training salespersons, typically in small groups.
  4. We work one-to-one with trainees to implement the "Best Practices In Negotiation" they learned from the seminar process.
  5. Supervisors and managers are trained next, especially in the best techniques for sustaining and building on the improvements made.
  6. A report is made, assessing wins and losses, while recommending ongoing improvements.
  7. Ongoing support is offered via web, phone, and follow-up visits as requested and required.


Occasionally, we'll perform only an initial needs assessment or a stand-alone seminar to familiarize clients with our material and methods.

We also advise negotiators in a current or imminent transaction. When circumstances require it, we mediate negotiations, as well.
